New Harvest produces their first The Best of New Harvest-the Playlist Project under their FaithWorks Records Imprint.

Dayton, OH (January 21, 2013) – FaithWorks artist, New Harvest, has just completed recording their Best of New Harvest-the Playlist project, set to release digitally on I-Tunes and other digital media outlets nationwide September 1, 2012. Their hot single ‘I Know that He Can’ is currently at gospel radio garnering some waves as it blasts on the airwaves! A great feat took place when the single was added to The Sheridan Gospel Network “The Light” and Rejoice Musical Soulfood radio stations! The story get’s better; New Harvest music is featured in Robert Townsend’s In The Hive movie soundtrack. I Can’t Stop is the single from their 2007 Daywind/Vital Records release. Black Entertainment Network (BET) has featured this movie in heavy rotation during Black History month in 2013. Keep your eyes open for the movement of New Harvest. In addition to the single a new video is already in motion capturing the power and message of the titled track.

New Harvest members began their ministry in Dayton, Ohio, and in 2007, were nominated for 3 Dove Awards from their first self-titled national release New Harvest.

The playlist project captures the innocence and a dream that a group of church-boys had from their days of singing in the Sunshine Band, The Voices of Praise, which transformed to an all male group. Terence had an epiphany moment and decided let’s put all our music together to share with our fans. Two of the songs were produced by gospel producer/songwriter Antonio Neal, formerly of EMI (Days of My Life, Antonio Neal, Stacie Orrico, Darlene McCoy and Avalon’s Jody McBrayer, Katinas). Keith Harrison is another producer that sang with the R&B groups the Dazz Band, Heatwave, Fazo, from Dayton OH, along with Dean Hummons; an original member of Sun which was an R&B, disco, and funk band that was active mainly during the late 1970s and the early 1980s. John Hughes produced New Harvest last compact disc that opened the door for them to become the 2005 Exalting Him National Winners out of Hendersonville TN with their Vision project. Best of New Harvest will capture the power, triumph, victory, and defeat that one may encounter in life; but the good thing about it all; God’s strength is made perfect strength in our weaknesses. The tracks include the urban contemporary track tune ‘Just Clap’ with a hand-clapping; throw your hands up vibe praising God through your storms. Just Clap gained momentum in the BDS radio and records tracking system when it released in 2010. The compilation also features the track they performed at the Showtime at the Apollo “I Know that He Can.” The very first song that was recorded by the group that was penned when Terence was stationed in the Republic of Korea; “A Brighter Day”. Every artist has to have their favorite hymn and their TBN debut of “His Eye is On the Sparrow” is featured as well and many more of the best of New Harvest. All songs on this project were penned by Terence and he shared the spotlight with his eldest son; Terence O. Hayes, Jr. with two tracks on the project. Family is a key ingredient of this male group; uncle, sons, nephews, father, all in one!

New Harvest’s talent and passion for the gospel has landed them performances with artists such as Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Christ Tabernacle Choir, and Teresa Hairston’s Gospel Heritage Praise and Worship Conference. They have performed on the INSP network’s Camp Meeting, I-Gospel, TBN, and the famed stage of the The Showtime at the Apollo in New York City.

Faithworks Records is a vision God gave to Terence and in his own words “where there is no vision, the people perish.”
